My grand aunt and mom taught me to crochet and the first thing I learned was the granny square. I am sure that your first project had something to do with granny stitches or granny squares.
The Wayfarer crochet scarf pattern uses basic granny stitches which makes this scarf very easy to make. Tassels add an extra bit of fun to this cute scarf. The V-shaped ends of this scarf might look complicated, but it is the same granny stitches that are used. This slim crochet scarf pattern is so quick and can be tweaked to make it wider as well.
